“Total Joints and the Degenerative Spine” Course is designed to increase the participants’ knowledge of current management and rehabilitation of injuries and disorders related to arthritis and joint degeneration.  Topics covered include conservative management of degenerative spinal disorders, spinal injections, myofascial pain management, cervical spondylotic mylopathy, osteoporosis, and total joint replacements.  Upon completion of the course, participants should be able to treat a patient with an adult degenerative spine disorder; spinal surgery; total joint replacement including the knee, shoulder, elbow, and ankle; and discuss conservative management of degenerative joints.
